just a little

i only played a few hands today but i managed to score a nice $100 win. Most of it came from 5/10. I only played 31 hands but i had aces twice and a straight.

I watched Live at the Bike last week and they had a 10-20 nl game going. Man were the players crappy. There was 5 weak tight, 2 retards and 2 decent players.

There was this one lady who must have dropped upwards of $5000 easily and I wasnt watching the whole time. There was one hand inparticular that just blew me away.

Shes has Q6 in seat 4
Weird dude has KK in seat 5

He raised to $125 and she calls in the BB

Flop KQx

She checks, he bets $150 i think, she calls

Turn Q

Goes check, check,I guess they tought they were trapping each other

River 10 which also puts a flush on the board, pot is around $600

She checks guy overbets with $2000 and she goes into the tank, the board reads QxKQ10 with 3 to a flush, of course she calls after 30 seconds.

She is only getting laid 1.3 to 1 on her call and she cant beat anything, the only hands you could see him having that she could beat are a pure bluff, AK, AA or a Q with a crappy kicker for a split. With AA or AK he is not going to overbet the pot so much with so many possiblilities out there, he will just check it down. So that leaves a pure bluff or a split. She cant beat a straight, a flush, KK, 1010, Q witha kicker higher than 10.

I dont see how you can call here, there are just too many hands that have you destoryed. Yes, you are going to laydown the best hand every once and a while but in this situation with the horrible price you are being laid and such a weak hand you just have to give it up.
