taking a break
Ive decided to take a break from poker, well maybe just holdem. Ive been getting too worked up while I play which isnt good for my stress level. I might start playing some more omaha and some sngs. I really just want to get out of this 2/4 level cuz this vairance is just killing me. My winning percentage has dropped from 9% in my first 4000 hands at 2/4 to 7% for the last 4000 hands and my hands played hasnt changed. Thats 80 less hands that I should be winning, which is a ton of money.
I do feel that my game is improving though, I am always analysizing how I play certain hands and finding new ways to win the most or loose the least.
Ive been watching some poker on tv as well. I watched some of the final table 2004 US Poker Championship on ESPN. I feel so bad for John D'Agostino. He had a huge chiplead and just got destoyed in every pot that he played, AA vs J5, 1010 vs 87, KK vs QQ vs JJ, and the huge bluff that I dont think he should have made with KQ, but highsight's 2020.
I cant stand watching those Poker Superstars II shows. Its just an allin fest. And they show those stupid graphics everyother hand. My favorite was Ted Forrest vs Todd Brunson and after the first hand they play they should this huge graphic how one of them has rasied everyhand and is dominating the match, IT WAS THE FIRST HAND. Whats up with the anouncers, Micheal is okay but that other guy is a retard, he misreads the board at least five times a show. Is he even a winning player? Get Lederer back, at least he gave some interesting insight into each hand.
I still plan on going to Vegas for some part of the World Series. I want to try to get into one of the $1500 Limit or No Limit events and try to become the youngest braclet winner ever, I'm only 21, it could happen.
Here is an hand from today that really pissed me off. I thought the players were working together.

I didnt know what the fuck was going on at the river, could the Button of had AA or KK, very possible. I shouldnt have been in the hand in the first place but it was the last hand of the day and I said what the heck and this is what I get.
